He spends most of his time at the West End office to be close to home, in case there's an emergency with his family: a mom and two younger sisters. Samuel "Sam" de Vries IV III II I Samuel is the doorman at Rijn Woods. He prefers to be called Sam, but he only tells that to the people he likes. He's been working there for over twenty years. He seems rather fond of Daisy, Jyn, Illya, and Cassian, maybe because they might stand out a little bit against the usual wealthy clientele. He's very sweet if not stern when he needs to be, and he never forgets a face. He definitely has a secret handshake or two with some of the younger residents. Kell Bärna IV III II I Kell is a senior researcher and developer at the Riverstone office in New Amsterdam. Dr Tiras, cyberkinetics specialist and surgeon, initially put Cassian in touch with her. She is a curt, professional woman, and Cassian has had several meetings with her in his time on Earth . He has put himself as someone very grateful to the technology and very interested in future improvements or developments in cyberkinetics - and with her he subtly plays up his preference and favoritism towards Riverstone.. Cassian met her through his own job, when he was called to repair a mechanical error at the door to her building. His efficient and friendly work left an impression, and she passed along his name (and the company he works for) to her supervisors should they need quick, speedy intervention - especially if it's a fix they might need without all the bureaucracy slowing it down. Priya Kanna IV III II I Priya is a developer and coordinator for Riverstone at its headquarters in New Beijing. While there, Cassian got a tour for himself and Jyn, with Priya as the guide. She was very exuberant, happy to talk about the field, as she has been studying it for over ten years. She is what could be called a cyberkinetics nerd, and Cassian mimicked her excitement. Cassian has kept in touch with her. They send each other news updates and tidbits related to cyberkinetics. She's one of the top mechanics, often stationed at the poorer areas though that's very much by choice. It's where she grew up and she does the work she wished people always did for her. She has a lot of friends, acquaintances, and maintains good relationships with all her clients and then some. If Cassian has a question about a local, she's likely to know the answer. (mechanic)
