I have spoken to Hutts. I am not sure it is much of a story. Did she explain what they are?

Essentially, yes. They are a slug species, though their tails are very long which is probably part of where the swear came from.

I do not speak Huttese proficiently, but they are well known crime lords and run in gang circles. I interacted with them occasionally back in my galaxy through work.

None of the above. But they will do business with most anyone, as long as they have the credits.

What was the business?

Depends on the occasion and what was needed. Hutts are heavily involved in smuggling. Sometimes Rebellions need to be covert, sometimes they need information about trade routes.

So you dealt with them more than once.
What kind of Rebellion?

Is there more than one kind?

It was against an Empire.

It depends what you're up against.

[ so that answers his question. Ren and the Phantom Thieves' teenage rebellion was focused on societal reform, and the nasty adults who used people as commodities. that hasn't changed much, but needed to be redirected since he arrived. ]

That depends on what you are up against. There is no blanket advice.

[ that story is always unbelievable and convoluted. changing the hearts of abusers and fascists in order to liberate others—the hows get a little strange, especially when he starts in about the talking cat. the Phantom Thieves were a mini-rebellion of sorts, sloppy and hopeful, all swords pointed at society's oversights. ]

Rebellions are not easy and not one size fits all. Here, our biggest barrier in terms of government was the UNA, at least in relation to Morningstar as a Resistance movement. We have already severely damaged that threat, but we need to be watching this power vacuum. The UNA was not the only powerhouse.

I admit I am curious. You do not seem like a stranger to what is happening on this planet.

This place is full of rotten adults, just like my world was.
People who take advantage of other people who can't fight back, using them as a commodity.
Yeah, it's familiar.

Children get caught up in the conflicts of adults more often than they admit. My planet was occupied by the time I was six. The people who cannot fight back are often some of the first targets.

Here is very familiar to me too, yes, lots of rotten people, filling out all the powerful corners.

The pushback is happening here too. Even without our intervention, people were already fighting to make things better.

But I think we sped up the process.

I agree. We have been more decisive than Morningstar. It has not always helped and I think as an organization it has a long way to go, but I think there have been a lot of changes since we started arriving in this world. In a good way.
