A magical creature, of course. They're long-snouted burrowing creatures. Native to Britain, mainly, and terribly attracted to anything shiny. It's not just Robert, really, it's his entire species.
I wouldn't call him a pet, really. Perhaps a horribly rude boarder. No, I am joking, of course. About the rude part, not the pet bit. I don't consider any of them pets, you see. I'm not interested in keeping magical creatures as pets, I am interested in conservation and in gently educating my fellow wizards about them to better their circumstances.
