flawless. ]

This dress has forty-seven buttons. [ she shakes it at cassian, skirt unfurling from the ball she'd bunched it up into. ] Forty-seven!

[ cassian jerks a little when the door opens, reaching for a blaster that isn't there, but it's only jyn. he is distracted from his defenses by the absolute mess of her hair, hanging down loose to frame her face in a way he isn't quite expecting. her hair is... longer than he might have thought too. but she's still a mess. ]

[ the dress sways in her hands, and he keeps his amusement muted in all ways but his question. ]

[ she blinks at him as if that is obvious. why else would she had told him the exact number of buttons on the stupid dress if she hadn't counted them? after a moment she realizes he is taking the piss and flips him off.
