You mean non-existent. [He sighs.] Yeah, I'm from the Clone Wars. The Chancellor turns the Republic into an Empire, I've heard how it goes.

Some of them are supposedly in hiding. [ he's heard plenty of rumors, though he never had time or directive to chase after them. ]

There are those who would argue it already was one. The Emperor just made it so officially. How many others from our galaxy are there here?

Considering how little the Senate gets done, there's no way it's the Empire already.

[Maybe he shouldn't talk about how inefficient he finds democracy.]

They expanded the Republic and its army plenty. I saw no difference between them by Clone War's end. [ he was, admittedly, only seven, but it wasn't until he was a little older than he even realized the shift in titles. ]

I have only met a handful so far. Yourself now included.

Then you must have been pretty young. Most of the Republic barely cares about the war unless it inconveniences them personally.

[He's seen first hand the downfalls of the Republic from the struggling planets trying to be heard in the Senate.]

We've already lost so many Jedi and clones.

I was seven when they ended, but the enemy did not change for me except in name. We simply went from Clonetroopers to Stormtroopers. [ tiny child separatist in the house. ]

I was always more concerned about the civilian cost. I saw plenty of those lost as well.
