[ it makes him feel some type of way that he does not want to unpack. she likes his eyes. cassian knows, objectively, his face and its features can be an asset, but there isn't anything to be gained here from jyn liking his eyes. he hadn't been trying. ]

[ he doesn't know what to say, so he's glad when she spins the conversation to the stars, eagerly looking up to avoid looking at her. but it might be the first time he's really looked at them the way she implies. ]
I had not thought about them much before, beyond noting their unfamiliarity. [ he pauses. ] Tell me something you noticed about them.
That one looks green. [ she points but it isn't as if he will be able to follow the line to the same star, especially not with how many their are winking in the ink-dark sky. ]
Maybe it's not even a star, it could be a planet they've not discovered yet. Or a blue moon so far away we can't track it's orbit around some other star.
[ it's hard to follow where she's pointing, but he does look across the sky for green. he finds something greenish, but whether or not they're looking at the same object is anyone's guess. ]
I wonder if they think about other planets here. Or what think the different colors mean. [ it hadn't occurred to him to find out. he knows they're stars, he's been through the stars. ]
